Am I just too old to get it? Seriously? I have eventually figured out most of the commonly used abbreviations people use for texting or here on cafe mom. Lol, omg, ttyl, bff, ds, dh, dd, etc. I even use a couple myself.
But there are SO many that just leave a total blank in posts. SO? (When I was in highschool thats what we called sex offenders...pretty sure it MUST have some other meaning in the posts I see here). Took me several weeks to learn that HS also stood for homeschool, PS=public school. And every now and again I have to ask my younger brother to repeat some text in english "fml...I h8 ths" Ummm...huh? Whats worse is when people start speaking in text! AAAAAHHHH! I want to run away screaming.
Wouldn't it be nice if someone were to write up a glossary of abbreviations and text terms so people like me could understand? Or better yet, wouldn't it be great if we could go back to typing in english? Does anyone else get annoyed by this?

it does when all they do is post in abbreviations but it helps sometimes to shorten things...lol..hope the glossery helps alittle...i know its a tad long lol
