Malissa, thank you for your question! As we follow Jesus Christ we come to learn that He is the way, the truth and the life. And when we look in Philippians 4:13 the bible tells us; "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." and John 15:5 says; I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
It is always best to seek God in everything. When we try to do it all ourselves we will surely suffer more conquences because of the choices we made. But with God all things are possible! God bless my friend :)
