What kind of rewards (if any) do you give for good grades on the report card or on tests for your kids?

Algebra is killing us this year and she's trying so hard hence the 3 dollars for a C

so far DH and i reward our oldest (in Kindergarten) with things she likes to do. (Skating, chuck-e-cheese, etc.)

Once she gets an 80% or above on 3or 4 of her spelling tests she gets to pick something to do.

She got honor roll this past quarter so we owe her a day of skating this weekend.

It seems to work too. Anytime she doesn't feel like doing her homework, we always remind her of her rewards when she does well--then she's ready to get it done! lOl

We mainly only reward for report cards - $2 per A.  Nothing for Bs or lower.  We will bonus $10 for all As - haven't gotten there yet though.  We also go out for a special dinner & dessert for A/B report cards.

For awesome weekly grades the kids can pick their favorite homemade dinner and game for family game night.

This is what i do for my son..the same exaxt amounts..he is a junior in highschool..and he is duel enrolled..which means he also takes several classes during the day at the college here where we leave..he has all ap classes
