oh btw my two year old is a boy and my husbands mom and step mom think this is really serious. my mom, my ex mil and my grandmother think this is perfectly fine

Perfectly fine. Especially if it is how the child knows babies to be fed.

BTW all boys go through a stage where they associate themselves more like their mothers.  It doesn't last very long it he helps them to learn and establish gender roles and identity.

Completely normal! Both of my girls "nurse" their dolls. I'm sure once this baby gets here, that behavior will increase.

I think kids will be kids... lol. Don't blow it out of proportion and don't allow others to especially in front of the 2-year-old. Elmo... gufaw-hahaha! That's so cute!. I'm sure he'll move on and so should the adults.

 I think it is fine.  My son did the same thing with a stuffed animal when I was breastfeeding his brother.  He was four at the time.

Adorable! And totally normal :) I "nursed" my teddy bear when I was 2, lol...I would sit with my mom while she nursed my brother.

My oldest DD did the same with her bear when my youngest was born.
