How much do you let your kids help w your crafts?

I decided to make my own bulletin board rather than spending a ton on the kind I wanted. So I got the supplies & started making them. My 6 & 4 yo needed to help, of course! I was going to stick to a more yellow theme, but they wanted to use the orange & red fabric (I got 2 pre packaged fabric bundles). I let them decide how to use the ribbon, too. So a couple of the boards aren't exactly how I would have done them, but my boys got to be part of the process.

i need to get another package of 4 cork boards to finish. Walmart only had 1 package when I got those.

I don't do much Scrapbooking around my boys. They try to help & that just doesn't work! I've heard of kids getting their own albums to scrapbook, I may do that at some point.

That is the problem, isn't it? Lol it's fun to have them involved, but some projects don't work well for child involvement.

Fun project!  Most of the crafts that I do, my dd can't help with.

Yup. Baking, gardening too. Anything with imagination and hands on. Builds self esteem and makes them think creatively.

I'm not a crafty creative person. It's more like my kids let me help them, lol.
