Help...Toddler Eating Issues.

Posted by   + Show Post

I am having a hard time with my little guy. He is extremely picky about what he eats, so the little things he does eat lately he hasnt eaten all of it.

He would be perfectly fine snacking all day instead, but I cant continue to let him do it.

This breaks my heart. I can deny him toys or going to the park or even just gametime....if needed, but I can NOT deny him food.

It was hard for me in my early to late teens ...sometimes there wasnt enough food to eat at home. Some days the only time I hate some weeks was at school lunch (which I got for free due to our income). I cant deny him food.

He will not eat dinner and then consistantly ask and even cry for a snack. I have reheated his dinner and given it too him and he is just the sadest little guy when this happens.

Can anyone give me some advice?

If his snakcs are healthy, I would serve those with a small bite of the remainder of dinner. I teaspoon of chicken or veggies and his snacks-
