Cranberry sage bread (think leftover holiday turkey....)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons (10 ounces) lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries
- finely grated zest of 1 orange
- 1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
Preparation:
Put the first 6 ingredients in your bread machine pan in the order suggested by your bread machine manufacturer. Use basic setting with medium crust. Add the cranberries, orange zest, and sage at the beep. Great for chicken or turkey sandwiches.

I find dried cranberries by the other dried fruits like raisins or apricots. The orange zest...I'd just buy an orange and finely grate enough peel to use in the recipe.
