My 6 y/o daughter has it still til this day. We have used the estrogen creams, she still til this day still has it! We were told in time if it doesnt stay open on its own, they may have to surgically correct her. You can also use some vaseline to keep her open as well. Just put it on the outside of her labia. I wish I had more info, but the drs haven't given me much to work with. I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks. I may try to get another opinion from a DR. and see if that helps me? For the mean time anyone else have this that can tell me their Opinion and what they did?

I have been cleaning it very well every day with warm cotton swabs and baby bathwash... It gets all gunky and I am starting to become concerned that it might be getting worse.  If I were going to use anything OTC- it would be A&D ointment or else bagbalm, those are both great!

My dd had it and her pedi prescribed estrogen cream for her. I applied it 2 times a day for 1 week and its not been a problem since.

ETA---- Kayas was pretty bad thats why he prescribed it the first time he seen her.
