Jeanette's Chicken Dumpling Soup

  • Chicken Dumpling soup

    1 package of boneless skinless chicken breast

    1 large can of cream of chicken soup

    chicken stock or broth(half the can of the cream of chicken)

    2 tablespoons of butter

    1 onion

    lots of garlic

    1 regular can of biscuits or 1/2 a can of the grands

    any kind of veggie you'd like

    put the chicken, the soup, the stock and the butter in the slow cooker on high

    chop the onion and the garlic fine and add to the slow cooker

    continue to cook on high for 4 hours

    then tear the biscuits into small pieces and add to the slow cooker cook for another 1 or 2 about 1/2 hour before serving add the veggies and shred the chicken

I made this using leftover turkey after Thanksgiving - it came out super tasty!
