Is your child riding without training wheels? Advice needed :)

My son just turned 6, and I am wondering when to take them off. His new bike is an 18 inch, since he is only 43 inches tall. Just wondering when to take the tw off; thanks!

I wouldn't force the issue with him but if he is wanting them off then I would try it. You can always put them back on. My son started riding without training wheels late last summer. We let him tell us when he wanted them off and went from there.
