The Cleveland Renaissance Hotel is gorgeous inside. DF and I stayed there for an anniversary.

While in downtown Cleveland E4th Street District has tons of great restaurants and bars.

The House of Blues is a great place to eat or catch a show, and Pickwick and Frolics has amazing food! This area gets pretty crowded at night.
The Nautica will take you out on the lake and also has lunch and dinner cruises.

Tower City is a historic building. Its a mall and has a movie theater in it along with a few restaurants. Its pretty inside.
If the observation deck of the Terminal Tower is open its fun to go up. You enter through the lobby of Tower City. We went for its reopening last year.

View from the observation deck

Lexa and I even made the local paper for this event!

Katrina Masten and her daughter, Alexa, 4, from Lakewood, look at the views from the 45th floor of the Terminal Tower, Sunday, July 11, 2010. The deck is open from noon to 4pm and tickets are $5. (Lynn Ischay/The Plain Dealer)
The metroparks are beautiful any time of year, but especially in the fall. The parks are a protected forest area spanning northeast Ohio. The parks have beautiful trails, numerous nature centers, rivers, picnic and play areas, and even bridal trails.

Just an hour west of Cleveland in Sandusky Ohio is Cedar Point.
This is a huge amusement park and a big attraction for the state. Its really fun. Tons of coasters, a nice kiddie land, a water park, also beach access from the hotel and cabins.

The Hyatt Regency is also a beautiful hotel. Its in the historic arcade(some shops on lower level). My great great grandmother used to clean the arcade, it was her 1st job after arriving in America.
