What do you do to get your home ready for vacation?

Stop the mail?

Mow the grass?

Plans for pets...etc?

We pay a friend to stay in our home and take care of our pets.  They give me a grocery list and I go grocery shopping for them.  I also make sure I have enough pet supplies.  The day before we go, the grass gets mowed.

I try to make sure the house is clean and make plans for our dog. Now that we own a house I guess well have to worry about getting the lawn cut lol.

I want to come back to a clean home so the only I have to when I get back is unpack the suitcases.

I also make sure the house is clean.  I can't stand coming home to a mess.

Usually we cut ours the day before we go, and it will be ok until we get back.  This coming vacation I am going to have to get my oldest ds to come cut it since we will be gone over 2 weeks.

Clean!! I make sure everything is where it should be so I don't have to do that after returning him from vacation.

We get my brother to take care of our dogs. My mom checks our mail & waters things.

all of the above, except for the lawn. the gardener comes if we are here or not.

i also try to leave the home as clean as possible.......nothing worse than coming home

to a dirty or messy house!

I agree about the diry house.  I can't stand it.
