If someone stopped in your town/city, etc. and asked you what the ONE best thing was to do there, what would you tell them?

Right now I'd have to say the weather. It's going to be a beautiful fall.

We have pretty mild winters, so you can enjoy the beach for about 8-9 months out of the year. Our coldest part of "winter" are from about mid December to mid March. If we are going to get any snow, that's when it will be. Other than that, we live in shorts and flip flops for about 6-8 months out of the year!

Oh and swimming with dolphins having wild horses roaming around in the yard on the beaches is pretty nice, too.

We're on the coast of NC - the NC Outer Banks = OBX

The reason we stay so warm is because we "stick so far out" into the ocean that we're really close to the gulf stream. (a really warm "river of water" that runs along the east coast)

I use to live in MD and love to see the wild horses!
