What are some places you would not want to travel in the winter and why?

It's not that cold up here! I don't like traveling someplace really hot during the winter because it makes the cold seem much worse.

Anywhere I have to use snow chains,  I dont like chaining up and I have seen a big rig hit another car that lost control and was skidding sideways.

Alaska! I visited my son once in the winter, and it was -30. Thought I was going to freeze to death.

I would love to go to Alaska and see the Northern Lights.

I'm in Minnesota. The first time I flew to Paris was in February. The temperature the morning I flew out was -25 degrees. The temperatures in Paris were in the 40's. It was hard to adjust to sub-zero temperatures after being somewhere 60 degrees warmer.
