What is your main source of heat...oil, wood, electric furnace?  When do you normally start using it?

We have an oil furnace but use our wood stove as our main source. It helps keep our electric bill really low. I love it!

We have gas heat. It varies in Ohio when we need it. I turned it on last night for the 1st time...but we could get a heat wave still lol.

we have a gas heater.  We are still pretty hot here.  It got to the high 80s today, so we are still pretty warm.  Our weather is so unpredictable here.  One year its 40 at the end of Sept this year its in the 80s.  I hope it stays kind of warm through oct so my kids arent bundeled up for halloween.

Wow! On occassion we get snow showers in October. Infact the last Saturday in October, last year, we got snow, lost power and phone service. I had a fundraiser to go to and ended up getting ready at a friends house.

Electric heater. We don't really need to anytime soon. I have ran it a couple of times in the last 2 weeks but only in the am.
