Donut Saline Injections: Would You Get Them? (PHOTO)
Some of the newest and most exciting trends often hit Japan first (super-high platform heels, anyone?), but now, Japan's most adventurous young people are taking a giant leap forward in the trendsetting department -- by INJECTING THEIR FOREHEADS WITH SALINE.
Sorry for the caps. I had to write it that way in order to believe it.
Kids get the look by having medical grade saline pumped into their foreheads. The process takes about two hours, and the 'donut' look is achieved by pressing a finger in the middle of the saline bubble as it's forming.
If you decide to try this at home (hint: DON'T), you should know that the donut will only last for one night. After that, the body absorbs the saline and your forehead is back to normal.
Of course, you'd think that you'd be left with saggy forehead skin, right? Those who've tried the trend swear that's not the case, though. They say their skin goes right back to normal afterward.
Some Japanese clubgoers have saline injection parties, according to Vice Style, which originally reported this story. Others get the injections before they go out for the night. And if you think this sounds weird, the injectors also get requests for scrotal infusions.
Think about that for a minute.
Would you do it?
