I was talking to a friend the other day and she was asking me how I met my hubby and how was our first date, I told her that our first official date was at a Friday's and then I told her that my hubby says that he fell in love with me because I was not the salad/glass of water kind of chick LOL...she was surprised by the fact that I did ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, dessert and had a couple of beers (right from the bottle BTW), I thought first date out to dinner: I had to eat LOL
So what about you ladies?
We went to a burger joint. I told him where we were going and if he wanted to go out it was going to be there. Right from the get go I told him I was very picky at what places I eat out. I also talk allot and he was surprise I was the one asking all the questions. I also picked the movie we were going to see that night. I am the take charge kind of girl. After a few dates and I knew he was a keeper I let him start making the date plans.

Did you find out he was a keeper because he let you be in charge? jk jk lol, that's cool, I am also that way, don't expect to take charge but I want my opinion seriously considered.
With my first husband we always had to do what he wanted. I was not going to do that again so I wanted to see if he was willing to do stuff I wanted to do. I liked that he was all about making me happy and doing stuff that made me happy.

I had a friend who did not eat infront of guys in first or second or third dates!!! She would just drink water!!!
Me, I took advantage of the opportunity of a free meal, so I ATE!!!! I ordered a nice steak with a baked potato! Yum! When my husband and I went out on a first date, we went to Olive Garden, and I ordered the stuffed chicken marsala. I was farting a lot afterwards, but we still had a great time!

Haha. My DH did the same thing. I, on the other hand, ate some of my meal but was so nervous that all I could handle was a few bites. Lol
