So how much would you charge for that?
Thank you ladies for your help. I looked at craigslist and prices varied from $350 to $700. But some as cheap since it didn't include utilities. We are charging her $400, at first I felt like it was too much, but in the end somebody else would've charged her deposit plus probably extra for her dog. She gets to save money because she doesn't have to go to the laundromat anymore. I guess... We decided to buy groceries together, I would feel akward cooking for myself, my husband and our two year old without asking them if they want some of our food. She loves my cooking, but we decided we would take turns in cooking. Her food is alright. There are some things I really like that she makes. when I left my ex, the thing I missed the most was spending time with his family hahahaha. She's like a really friendly second mom to me.
My MIL lives close to a college, and has a "MIL" type room attached. Seperate entrance, shared bathroom (IF it was more than just her). Tiny fridge, sink, stove, and a LOFT bed (blech). I believe electric is included and she charges around $800, more in the winter, if the electric takes a huge jump up.
Amazing, it is just one big room. I would look at going rates for your area and just keep in mind, the electric and such.
I think it is cool you're still close/friends with your ex-MIL. Not so sure I'd be with mine ;)
