OMG! A bit of a vent....

So my community doesn't provide many support groups for first time mommies or military wifes... I tried looking for mommy and baby classes and they don't provide that either. I have tried to look for support groups online and I can't find anything. I'm located in Anaheim. I know that city that had all those crazy riots.... I know a bit ghetto. (Hope I don't offend no one.) I was not affiliated with any of that lOl. I don't even know what happen. I was at Disney when the bad riots broke out. Any ways, I kind of wish I could find some kind of classes or support group meetings so I can meet more mommies because I don't have any friends who are in the same stage in their lives as I am. Also so I can have playdates once my son gets a bit older. Its been a bit hard for me to connect with some of the women on this website. I'm a bit shy lOl.

Are you sure there is nothing out there Aneheim is a pretty large and well known area...  What about on the military base? Gymboree and Parks and Rec often have music or tumbling for infants and toddlers as a part of mommy and me groups. As far as classes on parenting check hospitals or State Child Resource Center.

Here are some places to check out:

  • Gymboree
  • Parks and Rec
  • Hospitals
  • Cafemom local groups - I have personally made very good friends on this site
  • Meetup.com

You would think so right. But no. I check on the city's website and there isn't anything. But thanks I will check those out. As for the military base the closest one is in LA by LAX.

I took the liberty of searching for your city. Gymboree - has a lot more than what they did when I took my daughter. So does your local parks and rec, personally I'm a big supporter of city parks and rec.  Hope it helps!
