Two years ago, his mother did not wanted my son or I to go to their family reunion since she concider us not family. Even though I had lived with him. Now, that I have been engaged to him for two months without his parents really knowing directly. They have seen my ring on my finger and still didnt say anything. My son and I are not invited to the family reunion. My fiance said because his parent are going. I am getting fed up that he is using his family as an excuse for us not to really be together. Like he doesnt want to spend time with us like a family. Why did he engaged me?

I also recall your last post. You have to talk to him about this! If you are to be married then you should be considered his family.

Ummm what? I understand where you are coming from. But why would you immediately attack the way she wrote her post? There are quite a few people in this group that are not American and sometimes their posts are improper.

Ppl are gonna shit on the fact that you didn't use proper grammar and spelling. But that is fcked up on his part. Maybe you should evaluate your relationship with him because if it's like that all the time it could be a sign that he's ashamed of you.

I never even attacked her post I KNEW her English wasn't that good and I was simply saying that there are people who are so obsessed with spelling that they might bash her. Goodness if you LOOK at what I wrote youd understand.

AND I was saying its messed up on her DF or whatever she considers him to be because he doesn't take her & DS around his side of the family and it might be a sign that he's ashamed

It's you'd* grammar police here sound the horn. Jk haha sorry :-D

Seriously though my thoughts on the grammar obsessed is this is a person who feels down, and is coming here for advice. To shoot her down more while she's already on the floor is not cool. All Jeannette was implying was that, that comment could have done without. Even if you meant good by it. :-D

BUT we are all humans here and we aren't all perfect. So let's all agree to disagree and carry on :-)

I read exactly what you said. I'm saying that it's pretty rude to point it out and to assume that we would attack her.

The only person that seems to be taking offense to what I said is you. This is CafeMom for goodness sake. There are ALOT of people on here who are obsessed with grammar&spelling. I didn't single only you out. Get off it.

I'm already over it. Incase you haven't noticed we pride ourselves on being friends and drama free in this group. We don't pick apart each other and if someone wants advice they are going to get real advice. Doesn't matter how they wrote the post. That is all I have to say about this.
