I went to MC D's at about 6 buy my DD a happy meal. Its a real treat for her to go. And it was take over night for a local high school, so it was a perfect time to go. Well we get there I ordered then I order a smoothie for me. Well I couldn't find my debit card! I had $2 in my wallet! I apologized to the girl, told her i couldn't pay and made a quick exit!
Talk about super embarrassing!
What's worse is that I was planning on getting groceries tomorrow and get gas with the fuel points I accumulated from that trip. Now I'm stuck embarrassed from my incident and now penniless! Ha!

Worst part is I can't go to the bank and get $$$ a new card won't be here till Monday. My DH the primary account holder is out of town. :-\ I guess I'm broke till Saturday when he gets back.

This has happened to me too. When me and my husband had an account together I lost my debt card. He was also out of town I had him go online and order a new card for me. I got my own account cause I did not like the fact that I was not able to fix it myself. It is hard to be in this situation, but don't be embarrassed it happens to all of us. That's good that your mom is able to help you till then.
