Home schooling Dilemma

Good Morning Mamas! Do any of you home school your children? If so- care to share the ups and downs and how you came to this decision?

I use an online charter school.  It's considered public school and it's state funded.  I received computers, textbooks, workbooks and other supplies at no cost to me.  This is the site to find out if there's one in your state: http://www.k12.com/enroll-or-buy/find-a-school-and-enroll#.URvdpKX2-us

We have teachers that they meet in an online classroom once a week.  They coordinate field trips so there are always social opportunities.  We have a strong school community on Facebook.

no.. I like my kids in public school.

I love that my child is curently in a public school and if I could I would keep her in one- the only thing is that we might have to home school her for a year so she can visit with her father. I dnt want her to miss a year and since he travels we thought homeschooling will be a good option.
