Intercourse causing miscarriage?

Has anyone heard that semon can be the cause of a miscarriage? I'm being told that in the first several weeks that semon can cause the cervix to soften and cause a miscarriage. I was already thinking intercourse could be the cause since I tend to miscarry in the 5th week after having it. So anyone else hearing this? This came from a doctor.

I have never heard of this but they say intercourse later in the pregnancy is suppose to help soften the cervix (the semen is anyway) to get it ready for delivery so it makes sense that it could also cause problems in some women earlier in pregnancy.

I've heard women discuss this as a possibility, but I have never seen scientific/medical research that has proven it as a fact. It *sounds* possible.
