August Challenge: Second Check-In

How are we doing, ladies! Please post an update on your progress here!

ANYONE INTERESTED IN JOINING US: Our monthly challenge gives us a chance to focus on ourselves. If you have a goal you'd like to work toward, post it here and join our challenge. We'll root you on--and help to hold you accountable. Peer pressure at it's best and most helpful. LOL! ;-)

PARTICIPANTS AND GOALS:

Jess-10 (Jessica): Stay positive and make lemonade out of life’s lemons!

angelicmom1984 (April): Begin the journey to a 75-pound weight loss

leandrat: Work out at least 5x/week (low impact yoga and such) and lose 10 lbs.

lizandgaryxx: Stay positive, calm, relaxed, and healthy through this pregnancy

kimscorner: Get van’s starter replaced, cable back on, and electric bill paid on time

echupko (Elizabeth, our resident fitness goddess): Get up to running at least 3 miles (since she was up to 6 miles pre-baby)

MargotRanae: Go to the gym 2x/week for an hour

mylitlBEE07: Be more active and lose 5-10 lbs.

lunabella: Lose 10 lbs and spend quality time with boys before summer ends.

Kat2619: Lose 10 lbs. and spend more quality time with kids.

xoNIKKIox: Start exercising again and lose 4 lbs (yes, I am being conservative since I have a program to launch at work. LOL!)

Ashleysnicholas: Keep eating right and exercising. Short term goal is lose 20 lbs by October.

Nalia: Get good grades this fall semester; spend more quality time with DF; find more ways to make self happy.

Took boys to the park yesterday, heading to the beach today, even had them help me cook lasagna, their favorite, on Sunday.

Down 5 lb!

Challenge- Get good grades this fall semester and spend more quality time with Df. And find more ways to make myself happy.


Note- I had a personal goal before this and it was to lose weight and I have lost it and I used to wear a size 2x shirt now I'm wearsing a L :) And I don't look pregnant anymore. When I was pregnant with my twins I gained really quickly. so that is a happyface.

I ran 2 miles in 19m20s yesterday! Not great but Not too bad! Then walked/jogged another mile :)

THANKS! It's a sall start--but a start nonetheless. And I'm tickled because I haven't even had a chnac to get into a fitness routine full force. Looking forward to more progress, when that happens!
