We were eating at Culvers Saturday (all of 11 of us) when the news that Whitney had died broke. My sister was facing one of the TV's and said, oh wow, that's a shock! I know Whitney has struggled with drug abuse in the past and who knows if she was still struggling with it. I grew up with her songs in the 80's/90's and I don't think any other female artist was as "BIG" as she was back then. I feel sorry for the family, her daughter and even her ex-husband, Bobby. 48 years old and her life is over. :( Makes me wonder where her life would have been today if she had never married Bobby, as I believe he was the "downfall" of her. JMO. Truly sad. :(

Yeah, it was pretty shocking. We were at Starbucks and my husband got a news notification on his phone and said, "Whoah!"
