now its been 10 days since I had my D&C
so how long will I feel pregnant?
I understand it could take time but I still have head pains, stuffy nose and feeling sick even off some foods

I really don't know if its all in my head or just wishfull thinking
from what I have read if I did a test it could still be posative

It feels like I am going mad I really don't want to talk to the docs As I am worried they will think I am going mad

Most women seem to say it takes a few weeks.  I have really easy pregnancies, so I was "unpregnant" instantly.  My sore, swollen boobs even shrunk and softened up the day before.  The docs still might want to check your HCG levels just to make sure they did a thorough job with the DC.  Ten days is still really new and fresh, and I know you loved that baby so much so its not surprising your body is still trying to hold on... I'm sorry sweetie, hang in there.

Yeah, it could still be another week or two. I think my pregnancy tests still came back positive at 10 days, but I'm not entirely sure. They were negative by 3 weeks though, but everybody is different. But don't be afraid to talk to your doctors because what you're feeling is totally normal. They've probably seen the whole range of emotions when it comes to miscarriage, so some wishful thinking and confusion about lingering pregnancy symptoms would not make them think you're going crazy at all. :) Hugs!

My loss was at 40 weeks, but its been over 3 weeks, almost 4 and I can still express milk if I wanted to...

I am sorry you are going through this.

I didn't have a D&C, but I wanted to send you hugs!

I didn't have to have a D&C. After 14 days my blood work still said i was pregnant. The doctor had told me this would take a few weeks for the pregnancy hormone to leave my system.  It took another month for certain foods to taste good again. I agree call your doctor they are pretty helpful.

I don't have terribly symptomatic pregnancies so I didn't have a lot of symptoms to go away. However, I would think that as long as you have hcg in your system you will feel pregnant. My pregnancy test came back positive at 10 days after my d&c but was negative by 2 weeks.
