Due date approaching (*preg mentioned)

I can't believe that my baby boy Angel was due in just a few more days. Though I'm 18 wks pregnant I cannot stop thinking about him and imagining what it would be like to be 9 months instead of 4 months. I'm so happy and grateful that I have this darling boy growing inside of me, but I'm so sad and "nostalgic" about Angel and that pregnancy that was taken away from me too soon. I had planned on getting a tattoo to remember Angel, but now I'll have to wait. I'm thinking about doing a little something on my own, maybe drive up to the beach and just talk to him and thank him for his precious gift, his brother growing inside of me.

 Thinking of you and sounds like a sweet idea. It really is so many mixed emotions when grieving a lost baby as well as being excited for another baby. Hoping the day isn't too hard for you and I'm glad you will get to have a little alone time to spend talking with him. I'm sure he is watching over his little brother growing inside. Take care

Our due date was just a few weeks ago when I was about 27 weeks pregnant... I know how you feel! It's such a complicated set of emotions to love both but to know that there was never a way to have both. Hugs!

*Hugs* I know its hard and I'm sure there will be many more emotional days with your pregnancy and remembering your angel. Just take it one day at a time and I wish you a healthy and happy rest of your pregnancy. Congrats :)

Doing well, thanks! I made his first hat today - with my other kids (pre-miscarriage) I had things made within a month of finding out I was pregnant, but since the miscarriage I've been much more guarded so am just now getting around to making him things. :) I hope all continues to go well for you!

Thank you for sharing. I am in a similar situation. Our due date, June 25th, seems far off, but I know it will be here before I know it. We are also expecting, in September now, so I understand how bittersweet this pregnancy is. Congrats to you on your rainbow baby.
