Ectopic pregnancy :( have to wait till sunday
I took a home preg. test last friday, both were positive. I couldnt remember the last day of my first missed period because I was on the Nuevaring and it got all messed up. anyways.....
Yesterday I went to Urgent Care, because they thought I had an UTI. After my urine sample, they said it looked good, and wanted me to go to the ER to make sure i wasnt having a tubal preg.
I was in the hospital from 9 at night to 2:30 AM. They did lots of blood work and ultrasounds and a pap smear.
Now The doctor says they didnt see anything in the ultrasound, anywhere. But she was worried it was either a tubal baby because she didnt see anything or I just wasnt far enough along to see anything. MY HcG levels were low ,So she let me go home & told me to stay in the bed.
My HCG levels were 1236 ( I dont know whats normal, or how far you have to be to see it on ultrasound)
Pretty Upset :(
anyone gone through something like this ?
You may just be to early... Do you have a reg. dr. Ob or midwife?? If so I would make an appt. with them, or if you don't see if someone can get you in to confirm.

Praying you have a sticky bean in there!! In regards to hcg levels I know they can all be different but we found out w/our current pregnancy right at the 4w mark.....I mean to the day and my hcg levels at my 1st draw that afternoon were 46.....I had an u/s at 5w3d and there wasn't much to see. At 8w3d another u/s and there was baby w/a nice strong HB. Try not to worry.....I know easier said than done! HUGS!
Sorry I don't no much about hcg levels but I agree with the other ladies you could be pretty early in your pregnancy and that's why they aren't seeing anything on the u/s. I would try to give your regular dr a call and get in asap. Good luck hun!
