Hi ladies. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of May. I found out Tuesday that I am pregnant again already. I went to have a blood test yesterday and my hCG levels are 40. I go tomorrow for more blood work to make sure my levels are going up. My chest has been tender, but not as much today which worries me. I hope my levels are not dropping. I won't know until Monday. I am trying to not be excited. I know I should be, but I am so worried about having my heart broken yet again. And I worry if I do miscarry again, what's wrong with me? I know everything should be okay and there is no reason for me to lose this pregnancy, but I can't help but worry. Also, I have been a bit nauseous today- good. My ob told me to wait two months before trying again and obviously I didn't- not so good. Thoughts??

ALL DRS are different, some say no reason to wait some, 1 cycle, some 3 months and it goes on and on. They say to let the lining build back up emotional healing etc. Did you have a natural MC? No D&C?  To give you a bit of hope, I naturally MCd 2 1/2 weeks ago, I went to a specialist on Monday who did a vag ultrasound to check my uterus and follicle count. And he said the linng looks so good he wouldnt have known I just Mcd had I not told him.  Good Luck BARRELS of baby dust I pray this is your rainbow!!!

Thank you! I had a natural MC and the doctor said everything looked great a few weeks ago. I'm sorry for your loss. Good luck TTC!

The baby didn't implant. My levels are dropping. I'm going on Thursday for testing to see why this happened again.

Congrats on the new pregnancy!  Just try to take one day at a time and try not to think of another loss.  I know that's a very difficult thing to do though.  HUGS!

I'm so very sorry. I know how heartbroken you feel.

Talk to your OBGYN about your concerns. He or she can review specifics abut your miscarriages with you.

Unfortunately, there are instances in which, purely because of bad luck, women experience multiple miscarriages before successful pregnancies. Often, docs won't test for possible causes until there have been three or more losses (because early miscarriage is not uncommon. Sad but true--especially these days, with the breakthrough of early pregnancy tests helping us to detect very early pregnacies).

Please don't beat yourself up on getting pregnant soon after your first loss. The jury is still out on a firm verdict as to whether, in cases of early loss, you need to wait the recommended 2-3 months to TTC.

Sending hugs and prayers your way.

I'm so sorry that this happened again. I lost one in the end of Febuary and another pregnany at the end of May. My doctor told me getting pregnant right after a miscarriage has a higher chance of the new pregnency ending in a miscarriage. She told me next time to wait at least three months before I try again.

Once again I'm sorry and I hope the test results are able to give you answers. Good luck. ((HUGS))

We aren't waiting either.....I'm fearful that if I do get pregnant right away I will be an emotional basket case. I say, take it day by day. You will obviously be more cautious, but try to enjoy what you can and know we are all rooting for you here!
