I'm 24 years old and i have a common condition that affects many woman ability to conceive. i was placed on medication 7 years ago to control my high prolactin levels. I have been taking it on and off since high school; however taking it on and off again was not very beneficial to my prolactin levels, they stayed high and i never conceived...well in 2011 i told myself i was going to take this medicine as advised two pills twice a week...... almost exactly a year later to my surprise I conceived this year 2012... Something told me to take a pregnancy test and i got 5 positives on 5 different test !!! lol ( i had to be sure i wasn't going crazy) wow i was in total shock (everyone was) long story short ....yesterday i experienced a miscarriage not even knowing i was pregnant at the moment, my whole family is devistated . i cried yesterday feeling guilt that i should of known.... to help save my baby . With god on my side i shall get through this. (sigh)

I am so sorry for your loss. I also experianced my first miscarriage was my first pregnancy. we also did not know that I was pregnant before we lost the baby. Come to find out 4 months later the reason we did not know was because I don't get positives on the HPT. I am one of the 1% that will not get a positive. This group is amazing support and is there for you through everything.

I feel like I just read my own bio. I'm 24 and I have the same condition you do. I have a prolactinoma causing high prolactin levels. We found it in August 2012 after trying to get pregnant for a year. They started me on medicine twice a week in September and in January I found out I was pregnant. I miscarried on Feb 10. I couldn't help feeling like it was somehow my fault because of my condition. And even though the doctor says that had nothing to do with it, I still feel responsible. My prolactin levels have remained elevated since my miscarriage so they changed my meds. I am now taking it everyday. I hate it. My husband and I just started TTC again but I don't feel very optimistic. I am so sorry for your loss. I hate when people say "I know what you're going through" but in this case I really do know what you're going through. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers <3
