Some advice on What's next ?

I just went thru my first miscarriage and I don't know what to do and what not to do ? Sorry for the details but I have stopped the heavy bleeding ! Now what ? Im still scared this was my first time being pregnant ! And I lost my baby! ( tears) however at the ER they said I passed all the tissue left so no D&c was nessesary but should I check with other doctors just Incase ? I don't want any infections ! Somebody help me plz !

I would follow up with your OB/GYN or family doctor just to make sure the miscarriage is complete.  They may test your HCG levels to make sure they are going down.  I'm sorry for your loss.  HUGS!

 Hi...HUGS! Sorry you are going through all this. I have 2 other children, but this was my first loss. I found out at my 8-9 week US that the baby passed....so I took the RX offered and thought that would be it....unfortunately I started bleeding again 2 weeks later and went in and found out I hadn't passed the sac or anything else, only clots...so I had to do a D & C Friday afternoon. It's scary and no fun. Know you aren't alone.....I suggest following up with your OB. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm going through my first MC right now as I'm sitting here. I was 5 weeks 4 days when the bleeding started 5 weeks 5 days when I actually passed the sac. I'm still having some clotting and am following up tomorrow with my ob. He said on the phone I probably won't need a d&c but wants me to come in to make sure. Sorry you're going through this too.....

Hi thank you so much! your advice is is very useful I have no idea what the sac looks like so maybe I should go to get checked again .

Hi yes thank you and my hcg went down to 10 last time I was in the ER .... That was two days ago

I am so sorry you are having to go thru this. You are in my prayers! This is a GREAT group for support & advice. My first preg was a mc at 6 wks and my 4th preg was a mc at 7 wks. My 2nd & 3rd pregs resulted in beautiful healthy girls. I passed both my mc's naturally without any medical intervention, I'm greatly for at least that much. I am currently preg again and am 6 wks and completely nervous.
