What was your first period like after your loss?

When did you get your first period after your loss?  Was it weird or any different than your average period?  I had my D&E about 2 weeks ago.  I stopped bleeding and having pain probably about 8-9 days ago.  Yesterday I suddenly started bleeding a good bit and have been light-moderately bleeding since then.  Sorry for TMI, but when I wipe it looks like AF blood.  The only difference is it's dark, dark brown blood.  But the WAY I'm bleeding is very AF like and not at all like the bleeding I had after my D&E.  And today I'm feeling crampy, but it's more on the sides and not in the center where my uterus is.  Kinda weird.  I know it's probably more likely still from the miscarriage, but wasn't sure.  Anyone have bleeding like this over a week after they stopped bleeding from a D&E/D&C?  Anyone have a period that soon after a D&E/D&C?  I know it's more common to be like 4-6 weeks before your period comes.

I was very lucky and surprised to conceive again before AF returned. However, I have heard from many women who experienced changes in their cycles after m/c or D&C. And it isn't uncommon for AF to be a little late.

Take care. I hope you get more replies!

I didn't have a d &c but I got my first period about 4ish weeks after my loss and the only difference was it was a little heavier.

i had a weird bleed and then after trying to chart of the following cycle realized that it was just my uterus cleaning a little more out. It took a good 6 weeks for my real period to show
