Okay so most know I had my sweet angel Isabelle May 3rd born sleeping at 38 weeks because of Anencephaly. About mid May I started the birth patch Ortho Evra. And friday I had a colposcopy (my 2nd since I've had one before) and they took about 2 biopsies. The doctor said that she gave me something to clot the blood and that the blood might look like charcoal.
Well fast forward today, a little bit ago I went to wipe and I got two clot looking things the size of quarters. It looked like a charcoal clump in a sack, the first was broken a bit but the 2nd looked in tact. It really freaked me out, I just kept staring at them. I never had that with my last colposcopy. Anyone know if thats normal? And since I'm still new to the birth patch I'm freaking out if it could have possibly been a miscarriage. I've never had a miscarriage or anything wrong before Isabelle. And my next question is should I call my doctors tomorrow and tell them what happened? And who would I call my OB/GYN or my family doctor? And I was planning on taking an all day trip tomorrow and now I'm not sure if I should or not. Please someone help me be less freaked out.
I'm not sure...did you keep the clots? Can you take a hpt? If that's pos then I'd think that is a possibility.....if not, then probably not....I know after my MC I tested pos on hpt after my D & C for about a week...I'd pee on a stick and go from there..Sorry you've had a scare...that would freak me out too!

No I didn't. I thought about it but I thought it would be weird too. I will try and take an hpt tomorrow. And if its positive I think I'll go cry :(

I'd cry too...rightfully so, but at least you might know what's going on or it could just be weird side effects from the colonoscopy....hugs....I'd pee on the stick for you but I don't think it would help much! :(
