Miscarriage question

To those of you who've had multiple miscarriages, have any of you had different symptoms?

Leg me explain. I had a miscarriage in December that started with 15 days of spotting followed by 3 weeks of heavy bleeding and massive cramps that Doubled me over.

Monday I started a normal period after a couple weeks thinking I was pregnant. There is almost no cramping and when there is cramping it feels like normal period cramps. However tonight I passed a blood clot and what looked like tissue. I am scared I am having another miscarriage but there's no pain. Is that normal?

I'm sorry for your loss... I don't know if it could be, but I pass smaller clots when I have my period which are smaller then when I had my MC though...

This.  I also have clots when I'm having my period.  I also started to miscarry in Dec. had 10 days of bleeding, then a D&C, and just had my period...yesterday was probably my last day.  So it sounds like you are on the same track.  First periods can be different from your "norm" as your body is trying to get back on track.

I've had one still birth and three miscarriages. Two of them were natural and I just bleed like my normal period, cramps weren't much worse than a normal period and neither was the bleeding. Although my doctor told me it would be worse. It wasn't. My last one I had a D&C, and there wasn't any bleeding prior to the procedure.  My periods afterwards were normal, other than when they occured anyways. I usually pass clots when I have my period, so that was normal for me. Either way, if you were thinking you were pregnant...this understandably hurts even if it isn't a miscarriage. I sometimes think that I've had four miscarriages because one time I was 9 days late and when AF came she hurt more than any of my miscarriages have. I believe that the sperm fertilized the egg, but didn't implant. So even if this isn't a miscarriage...I'm sorry for your loss. You were hoping for a pregnancy that won't be coming for at least another month. Please know that we are here for you.

Thank you all for your help. I think it's just AF because my miscarriage was pure hell. And yes, it hurt when she showed up. No one here seems to understand.

My first m/c, I started with brown bleeding then red bleeding a couple days later. No pain. I went to ER and my cervix was closed , but no baby in u/s. I believe that the obgyn induced the m/c because after she examined my cervix forcefully, I started heaving bleeding and horrible craps for about 1 hours. With the second m/c, I was told at 6 weeks baby was gone. I m/c 7 days later. No major cramping and Bleeding like a regular period. No major pain and Passed tissue. I think it depends on how far along you are. Hoping you aren't m/c!!

I too pass clots during periods, but I noticed after my misscariage (and D&C) my next period had a lot of extra clots. Your body could still be expelling old uterine lining. Hopefully that's all it is.

I am fairly certain that its just AF. I will know in a few days because that when her visit should be over. This is a good thing because it will help us to get pregnant again. In December we didn't know til it was too late.
