2nd loss...so upset

I was 10 weeks pregnant and found out on 12/26 that the baby's heart stopped beating. My OB admitted me to the hospital the following day and I had a d&c.

She did some bloodwork and found that my progesterone was only 6.5. She thinks that may be a factor in my m/c four years ago as well. I'm scheduled for a follow up on Friday and will be discussing what my next move will be.

I told DH that I want to try again ASAP once the cramping and bleeding is over. He wants to wait a little because he doesn't want me to get upset if we have another bad outcome.

Just so upset and don't really know what to do :'(

I am so sorry. I suspect that low progesterone also had a role in my miscarriage. When we got pregnant right after, I went to get mine checked and it was a little low, so I went on a progesterone supplement (OTC, transdermal cream) which I've used for two pregnancies now (one successful to term, and I'm 13wks with one now). Whenever you guys decide to try again, I hope you get your rainbow!

That is exactly what happened to me for my second loss. No reason to not try again as long as you are sure you are ready. But at the same time, who is ever ready after you have lost twice? I have not tried again yet. I am sorry or your loss! Stay strong
