the reason i use cloth diapers instead of disposable diapers is because in my opinion disposables smell a million times worse. howerver, cloth diapers still get very stinky.  but not as stinky as disposable. does anybody every experience some really bad stinkish diapers with there cloths? did you notice the stinky smell before you cheked your baby to see if he did poopy? or were u able to notice the stink without even checking him/her? how did u get rid of the stinkiness of the diaper?

When my diapers started to smell like a barnyard when they were just wet, I bleached and changed from all free and clear to tide.  We haven't had stink since.
