To help with terms check out Cloth Diaper Terminology, Jargon & Acronyms and for some helful information with understanding cloth diapering options take a look at Quick Facts About Your Cloth Diapering Options

Other helpful posts for seeing what other moms use are Favorite type of diapers???  and DIAPER FAVORITES & REPORTS FOUND HERE!!! has reviews on different brands.

For help once you have them with laundering check out- Cloth Diaper Laundry Tips & Recipes

Remember to take a deep breath, it's not as difficult as it seems at first once you get the hang of it!

For getting cds on a budget remember that used is times again cheaper! Try putting up a want ad on your local freecycle group www.freecycle.org. Diaperswappers a has a free for shipping forum- http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=46 you can check out. You can find lots of great diapers used off www.diaperswappers.com, www.diaperpin.com and in our group through the Cloth Diaper Market  forum.

Also buying seconds is also much cheaper then first qulity new. Seconds are new diapers that have some sort of flaw, normally cosmetic. Check on manufacture sites for their seconds, such as http://swaddlebees.com/outletstore. There are some good prices at http://www.clothdiaperclearance.com/, they aren't as good as used, but they are better then other new sites, they are kinda hit and miss what they have in stock too.

If you can sew here's our post with tons of pattern links- Cloth Diaper Patterns, Fabric & Sewing Tips & Links
