I will be arriving to Albuquerque in April and I was just hoping maybe for some words of advice. Is there anything you wish you knew or someone told you?
I'm excited and looking forward to living in the Southwest (I love me some Mexican food!)
I'd love to know about where everyone live - the good vs bad areas.

I have lived here since I was 8-yes 8. I married AF to get the hell out and where did we get stationed? I went to elem, mid and high school here. Some college, then went to Texas A&M University and swore I would never come back- Well here I am! Thank freaking god we only have 4 years left before DH retires and we will go back to TX. Anything you about this place you wanna know, I KNOW IT!! We bought a house on the westside in 2007 so I am rarely on base (thank god) I would go bananas if I lived over there! Hit me up if you want to know anything from best schools to best day trips!

Hey girls! My name is Kate and I have been stationed here for almost two years and I think the most inetersting thing that I have found to do around here is The Sandia tramway! It was beautiful up there and it reminded of alot of home. I am from Maine.. I know way upthere lol! Anyways currently I am living on San Mateo and I love it, but after my lease is up I am moving on base, because I want an actual house vs the apartment! if you have any questions just hit me up!
