Cache In Trash Out

Great events that happen in April for Earth Day. It is a geocaching event where the main focus is that you go clean up the area. This is usually done at start parks & such but could be done anywhere. There is usually some temp caches, some discovery of bugs & coins, maybe lunch, etc. Just depends on who is running the events but just for going you get a "found" cache so to speak.

Is there any around you? Have you searched in Geocaching.com to see if there are any close enough you could go to?

These are great events. We went to one years ago & then there wasn't any close to here again. Well this year there is one at the state park right up the street. I am very excited about it. I love helping the parks & cleaning up the trash is great. It is sad how much of slobs people are that they could care less about their trash & what it can do to the lake, wildlife & just the park. We found, at our last one, where people were dumping tires in the state park! Just disgusting! It was a good find though so A. it could be cleaned up but B. so the rangers could keep an eye on that location.

Our event is April 27th.
