Hey everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Catherine. I'm 19 years old (20 next month). Dh and I have been married about 13 months now. He is 28. We found out a week and ahalf after we got married, that I was pg. We were excited. When I went to see the doctor in August (I was supposed to have been 15 weeks) after all of the labs and a u/s he stated that it was a blighted ovum, that it was very common, and not to worry as I would be able to have children w/o a problem. I guess my body is stubborn because it was a missed m/c. I didn't m/c until 9/14/08 (my doctor didn't want to do a d&c for some reasonl--he wanted me to go naturally). I was supposed tohave been between 19 and 20 weeks when I m/c. It has been 9 months--I haven't been preventing since, and I finally started Oing again (I think).

Catherine, I just read your post, sorry I now it been at least a month since you posted it! Let me send you some encouragement! I m/c at 11.5 weeks, with a b/o this past August (08). I know how you feel, I think this was the worst thing I have ever went through...I was so happy when we got a BFP on Father's Day last year...only to have it all shattered within a few weeks...AF came about 2 weeks later, so I thought I was going to get back on track in a hurry....we started trying again after the suggested 3 cycles, that was in Nov. 08...Month after month seemed like I was getting even more depressed with the coming of AF, or the BFN...I even went back to my dr. in april just to make sure nothing was wrong. I thought maybe I had some kind of blockage or something...he said everything was fine, and until we had been trying for at least a year, he would not worry at all...and even then if there was a problem, I was young and there was still time to fix it!!  He did advise me to take mucinex, it's a over the counter decongestant..apparently it helps with making all body fluids thin...which helps sperm swim better. He suggested I take one a day for about 3 days around the big O. I don't know if it did the trick, but that was in april and by July I got my BFP...I am now 8 weeks preggers!! I am still a little worried, I don't go to the my first dr appmnt until next week. I am praying that this time there is a strong heart beat! I just plan on putting it in Gods hands, and I think he will see me through! I will whisper a prayer for you. But don't let you faith get weak...I know it gets hard...I have had some low months, but let me tell you God is always right on time! God Bless you and baby dust to you!! It will happen....I know it seems like everyone around you is pregnant, and you just want that same joy that seems to some so easy for everyone else, but it will happen...just hang in there!! If you need a shoulder...feel free to email me!!

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sorry this reply is late. I had a blight ovum in June of 07 and I was also 19 yrs old. It was our first baby and I was so excited. However, I do want you to know that it is very very possible to have a baby after a b/o and to not give up hope. I got pregnant last July and had a beautiful baby girl on April 10, 2009. I was worried the entire time I was pregnant b/c of my first experience but I had a very healthy pregnancy and a very healthy baby.
