Do you suffer from depression AND allergies? A new study says there may be a link. Check out the news from the Washington Post: Are allergies linked to depression?

What is your experience? Have your allergies ever made your depression worse?

That is an interesting concept.  When I was depressed I had to take allergy shots.  Never hear of it but, if it were me....I'd sure look into it.

Hmm interesting. I have never had allergies in my life and I have been diagnosed with PTSD, OCD, and depression.

I don't have allergies, but I have been dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bi-polar disorder for many years.

That is a very interesting study though...thanks for sharing!

In my case if I don't feel good I get depressed because I feel I should be taking care of the family and cooking and cleaning, yet if I'm sick I have NO energy for this and DH has to do it so I feel super bad!

That would explain why I have more bad days during the spring when my allergies are at thier worst. Never thought the two had a conection
