Marriage counseling

So, my marriage has been one of the big triggers for my depression and anxiety. I love my husband dearly, but we've had a lot of problems. I've finally sucked it up realized that marriage counseling would probably be a step in the right direction for us. Has anyone ever gone? How did it help you? Honestly...I just sent the inquiry to where we'll be going, and it already feels like a huge weight has been lifted.

Well it has helped my husband understand my anxiety disorder better; that he is not the reason for it and how to control his anger too.  When my husband gets mad he just walks out for a little while and calms back after a short time.  I still let him cool down though until he is ready to talk to me.  It has worked well.
