Dr. Seuss

Today marks the 107th birthday of Theodore Seuss Geisel, one of the greatest authors of children's books of all time. While some of us may be a bit rusty on his literature, adults can learn a lot from Seuss's work. But don't worry, this is not a sappy list of inspirational quotes. That's just not NewsFeed's style.

The first lesson comes right from Geisel's pen name. While growing up, his father always hoped he would earn a doctorate and become a professor. Although he enrolled at Oxford University to study English, Dr. Seuss never completed his Ph.D. Nevertheless, he certainly made a career for himself as a doctor.
