for me it does, because i get very stiff joints too.

 thankfully it's not normally humid here. But really hot weather makes me sick sometimes.

 That is a good question I have never thought about that before.  It is starting to get humid here now I'm going to have to keep track of it.

today the humidity here is 84%.  It just makes me want to sleep. I fight wanting to do something but it's yuck to be too active

no humidity in las vegas but when i go home to the east coast it irritates me!

I live in Alabama and humidity is just part of living here.  I am blessed to have a lot of tree cover, a covered front porch and a covered patio.  I have tons of insulation in the walls and ceiling.  I have ceiling fans that are on all year around, 24/7 and I only turn on the a/c at night or when I have a migraine.  I have my doors open with the screen doors latched, so I get a great cross breeze.  If the house still is not cool, I turn on my entire house fan, which sucks out all of the air and replaces it every five minutes.  It sounds like a jet plane, but it gets rid of that stuffy feeling.
