Today's Hope

"It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something." ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

The first treatment doesn't always work, whether it's a certain type of medication, form of therapy, supplement, or self-care method. Sometimes even the second or third, or more, don't work. Don't give up. Something will work for you in the end. Make sure you're following all of your doctor or therapist's recommendations, and if the plan still isn't working, ask for a different plan. If the healthcare provider him or herself isn't working, you have every right to find someone else who is a better fit for you or who has more experience treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The most important thing is to keep trying.
