Im not sure if its my depression or whatever is wrong with me or just grieving. But every time a close family member dies about one month after i have dreams about them coming back to life. Sometimes nightmares like last night. Very scary. And they continue off and on for years. I wish they would go away. Any advice?

When I go to bed I kept seeing them, and I can't sleep

Hope it's better soon

For me it all depends on the type of dream. Last night was a total nightmare. Sometimes its ok. It usually involves the coffin at some point.

I think its part of the grieving process.  Try to write these dreams that scare you down and think about what frightens you so you can process it and possibly stop having these dreams of loved ones be nightmares.

I dream of friends and family that have passed and sometimes its unpleasant, because either they had an untimely death or I didn't resolve conflict with them.

YES! Both DH and I have nightmares like that. Like they didn't really die, and I have to relive it over and over again. My DH's nightmare was that he kept seeing his mom and brother , and every time he'd see them, they'd beckon for him and they were rotting away more and more with each dream *shudders*

Other than rotting exactly. Like my nightmare last night grma didnt really die she was alive and talking and everyone was wrong. I went to work then she died again. And my cousin started dying very scary.

I've had dreams about loved ones that passed and they seems so real. The only thing that upsets me about it is, they seem real and I have to wake up and remember they aren't here :/
