For example liek seroquel or risperdal, if they make you tired and the doctor tells you to take them at night, will they really still be working in the morngin and throughout the day?

Sound stupid i know but really wandering.

yes.  they stay in your system for the entire day

certain meds are better taken at night and certain better taken in the morning; and sometimes one person might have better luck taking it in the morning while another does better taking it at night

I take mine at night so if they make me nauseous I'll be asleep

I take some in the morning and some at night. They stay in your system throughout the day or night. The ones that make you sleepy are good to take at night. Take them the way they are prescribed.

the answer is yes. some of them are long acting and last up to twenty four hours. some injections last even longer than that.
