Spread Mental Health Awareness in May -- and You Might Win!

Posted by   + Show Post

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we want to spread hope and help across CafeMom -- and beyond!

Mental illness affects 60 million Americans, 1 in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children, according to the National Aliance on Mental Illness.

First things first: Steal the siggy at the bottom of this post (see instructions underneath it) and use it as your own -- then everywhere you post, you’ll make Mental Health awareness known!

Now you're ready to check out the activities we have going on right here in the group:

Then stay tuned for more cool stuff and chances to win prizes in the group, and be sure to sign up for the Mom Happiness Makeover and help CafeMom help YOU get happier!

Here's how to add a siggy to your posts:

  1. Copy the image above (the link to the group is already included)
  2. Go up to "my account" near the top of any page and choose "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu (you might be asked to enter your password)
  3. Click the "Fonts & Signatures" tab
  4. Scroll down to "Signatures" and choose "Add a Rich Text Signature"
  5. Type a name for your siggy, paste the image you copied from above into the posting box, and click "Add"
  6. You can then click on "Set as CafeMom default" under the signature if you'd like this to be your main signature
  7. Or, anytime you'd like to use the signature, click "Yes" below your post where it asks if you'd like to include a signature, and find the name of your siggy in the drop-down list

 Hello Ladies,

I am EVERY Shrinks challenge,  i'm exhausted rt. now, MAJOR PANIC ATTACK, for at least 2 or 3hrs, everything became blurry, I often black out, so it was a xanax time, & when thier that severe, a xanax will knock me under the dirt, so came into my bd.rm. which is also my own designed sanctuary.

Woke up bout 3hrs. later, bout time for my night time meds, & thier kick;n in quicker, due to my Panic attact, thats still lingering so i'd better lay dwn. & let them do thier job. Hopefully i'll hv. A better persemption, come morning. :)
