We asked one of DH's family members if they would watch LO for a bit today. It's the first time he will be watched by someone other than me or DH. I am so excited. I have no idea what we will do with our free time though LOL.
That's wonderful! Being out doing ANYTHING- especially things you did back when you were getting to know each other- in our case, hiking, canoeing, going out to dinner, playing board games and pool- may help you to re-connect.
In my case, I seriously had to think of a few interesting topics of discussion, because I was so unused to talking aboiut anything other than the kids and it was awkward when we were in a restaurant and I coiuldn't remember what peopel talk about

Thnak you, maybe there was some miscommunication or something but LO never got watched and DH and I never went anywhere alone together. I guess it was just a visit to see how LO would react there. I wish he was more clear on what was going to go on because I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up.
