I got a call from my Diabetic Nurse Educator a few days ago. He said our insurance is going to cover a continuous blood glucose monitoring system for me at 100%! That's huge because the technology is fairly new and most patients get denied and have to appeal at least once before getting approved. It should be here in a few days and then I can schedule training. I'm really hopeful this will make life with brittle diabetes a bit easier and that I'll stay healthier longer. :)

Awesome! So does this notify you or alarm you when sugars are getting high or low immediately? Just interested in how it works... It sounds , just by the name, to be a really great tool! And what insurance, because that sounds like a real good one!
